My form reverts back to an older record when I submit it.

Hello all,

I'm going to try to be as detailed as I can. I have a gallery called galAvGas. I then have an edit form where the item property is galAvGas.selected. All that works fine. I have a submit button that is just a SubmitForm(formeditAvGas) OnSelect. It seems like the record will typically stay on the last submitted record when I am editing a record. It's when the form is in new mode is where my issue mainly happens. I have a new record button that says EditForm(formeditAvGas);Navigate(AvGasEdit, ScreenTransition.Cover). When I submit that it reverts back to a previous record. How can I stop that from happening? When they submit the form, it needs to stay on the current record until they go back manually. I have tried following another website that set a variable as .lastsubmitted but i had to change the gallery's item property to that variable so it was no longer pulling up the correct record when I would select it in the first place. I could really use some help. Thanks!!

    On the button in your gallery where you navigate to the form.

    OnSelect: Set(varItem,ThisItem);

    Form item property:

    varItem

    onSuccess of the form:

    Set(varItem,FormName.LastSubmit);

    Thanks for your reply! for some reason I usually get email notifications, but i didn't this time and just assumed no one responded to me. So, when you say "button I use to navigate to the form" I essentially have 2. I have the NEW RECORD button that is NewForm(formeditAvGas);Navigate(AvGasEdit, ScreenTransition.None) and I have the gallery record itself where the On Select property is EditForm(formeditAvGas);Navigate(AvGasEdit, ScreenTransition.Cover) Where would I need to put your change at? and is there anything I should take away?
