Hi everyone,
I work at a retail company with 300 employees, and we have an upcoming KPI assessment. I am planning to automate the workflow to streamline the process, and I would appreciate your insights.
Requirements:
- HR will distribute a KPI template to the Supervisors.
- Supervisors will tailor the template to match the specific job descriptions of their employees.
- With 300 employees, this will lead to the creation of around 300 individual KPI assessment forms and Excel files, which poses a significant bottleneck in the process.
- Both the employees and their respective supervisors will need to fill out the KPI forms:
- Employees will score/assess themselves.
- Supervisors will also score/assess each employee.
- The assessments by employees and Supervisors should remain inaccessible to each other.
My Approach So Far:
I’m considering building a Power App to manage this, along with Power Automate for workflows (e.g., collecting data). However, this feels quite effort-intensive, and I wonder if there’s a more efficient way to handle such a process. I’m unsure how to efficiently generate and personalize 300 unique forms and files, one for each employee.
As this is my first job and I’m relatively new to Power Automate and Power Apps, I would greatly appreciate advice on:
- How KPI workflows are handled in other organizations.
- Suggestions for simplifying or improving this process.
Thank you in advance for your guidance!
