Authoring canvas gets too slow, can't work with it

Hi there,

As I add more messages, questions to my topic on the author canvas it just gets more and more slow, to a point where I can barely do anything with it since it takes up to a minute to do things such as add a new question, type in, save...

It is so slow is no longer useful I'm afraid. I have tried with a more powerful computer and it's the same, so I can't understand if it has something to do with my account or it's just like this for everyone.

Has anyone experienced this?

Thanks.

    Hello,

Thanks for sharing details. It turns out that your topic has about 33 levels, making it a really long topic.

We'd suggest that if there are portions of your dialog independent from the preceding nodes, try to create a separate topic(s) for them, and the corresponding path in this topic can redirected to it (using “go to another topic”). You'll probably find it easier to work with smaller topics and redirecting to them. Hope you can give this a try and let us know what you experience.

    Thanks
    Gitika
