Workaround to highlight text, add comments in PDf

A PDF Viewer control is available in canvas app to view PDF document however it lacks the capabilities to add annotations, highlight the text or comment. I need a workaround to add annotations to the documents with notes, sketches, and other comments for a PDF. Please let me know if you have any ideas for a solution.

The PDF Viewer is only to allow viewing of PDFs, not markup. To do what you are asking from Power Apps you'd need to write your own PCF control from scratch to handle those PDF functions.

I would instead have them open the PDF directly using a link, annotate etc it with a proper tool like Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
