BC on-prem connection

Hi all,

Do you know why when connected the BC on-prem instance with PowerApps I’m not able to see all the web services manually exposed but only the “standard” tables proposed for the BC on cloud connector?

Perhaps is this caused by the “preview” of the connector?

Thanks
Dario

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you mean that you can not display all the entities when connected with BC in PowerApps?

PowerApps uses ODATA for connecting to BC. To expose your entities, go to web service page and publish a BC entity as OData web service. Then from PowerApps you can connect to this url.

Here's a similar issue for your reference:

    Hi,

If I understood correctly now it uses API and not Odata anymore for the connection to BC (correct me if I’m wrong).
However, with both manual exposure of the web services using BC or standard API - the list of the data sources doesn’t contain the newly exposed sources but only the standard list of the connector (e.g. items, customers, vendors).

My theory is that the connector doesn’t synch back with the new entities created in BC - is there anyone from MS that can confirm or look into the problem?

    Thanks,
    Dario
