Format of Dropdown data

I am somewhat new to Power Apps.  I know what I need to do, but I was not able to find any information on the format for my dropdowns.  I will need to create multiple dropdowns, and I prefer to create it in an Excel file.    Now what I am unsure of, is in what format do I create each of my dropdown lists.

  • Should they be on the same sheet as a 1 large table??
  • Or should they be Separate tabs for each list???
  • Should each list be it's own separate table?

Is there a visual example that can be provided?  Each of my lists has a varying number of items.
I have the same question (0)

The first suggestion I will offer is that is you have access to SharePoint Lists, use them instead of Excel, which is really only a viable option if you have nothing else.
To answer your questions, each List needs its own Table and separate Tabs would be good housekeeping, although not technically necessary.
