I'm using the template "Start an approval in Teams when a file is added to a SharePoint folder" and have added a function to move file to a folder named "approved" but it's not working. Any help would be appreciated.
When the flow runs, everything works except the move file. I'm getting an error for the "Identifier"
Understood, thank you
You would need to build out the link manually or do another Get Files to retrieve the file information from the new location to get the correct link.
Hello Sir,
I'm hoping you can help me out with this as well. After the file gets moved to the approval folder, I'm wanting it to send an email to our accounting department with summary and link to the file, however, the link is for the file when it was originally in the estimates folder. How do I fix this?
The email is currently going to me for testing purposes. When I get the email, the link opens up to a blank page.
Ah I see. Thank you again!
There are some issues moving files to a different document library if the schemas aren't an exact match. I ran into that as well.
Approved was a document library. I followed your example and created the folder Approved in the Document Library "Estimates" and it is now working. Not sure why this is how it is but thank you!
What is the error you are getting? I just reproduced what you are trying to do and its working for me.
One thing I noticed in your screenshot. Is Approved a document library or a folder? in my sample SPFest is a library and Approved is a folder in the root of that library.
