I have a question in powerapps, is it possible for me to develop different view for different mode, for instance , there are 2 main modules in my app , module1 and module2 . module1 is for phone view whereas module2 is for desktop view only but both of these module has the same database (Sharepoint List )?
Hi @lunalovegood ,
I think your idea can be achieved by customizing different screens for people who use different devices.
The first way is to use the acceleration function to determine whether the user is using mobile app or desktop app.
Set(varMobileOrDesktop, If(Location.Altitude > 0 Or Acceleration.X > 0, "Mobile", "Desktop"));
You can then determine this variable when switching screens to go to the mobile screen or desktop screen.
I'm attaching a link to the video for your reference: #PowerApps Check if user is on Mobile or Desktop - YouTube
The second way is to judge the system:
Host.OSType

Rimmon
Thank you for suggesting the video, but i have 1 question where do i get the URL scheme shortcode that will enable user to launch powerapps native application?
You can get it in details of App.
You can also share your app with other users directly.
that URL is for web version right ? how about mobile app url ?
This is also for mobile app.
