Hello,

I have converted 1 field from whole number to decimal ( created new decimal field field 2 , hide old number field field 1)

I need to copy old data from field 1 to field to in view?

but when push data to higher environment we already hide filed 1 in view, How can we move data to field 2

i know it will be easier when both columns are visible and we export in excel and re-import again in excel

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Shafdev ,

You can do excel export and import.

But there's another better way with using same style, which is 'Open in Excel Online' (resided in Export to Excel).

Make sure you are on 'All Records' view and add your hidden Field along with new field before you click on 'Open in Excel Online'

    Reference Image in Ribbon Button

Once you select it, you will see all data.

Simply copy and paste the data or use formula if needed on that.

Once finished copying, click on Save and it will directly import and execute saving all records.

    Hope this helps
