Is it possible for portal users to create and edit their own views when filtering a list?

I can add filters for the user to interact with, but can he then save those filters or anything similar.

Currently there is no such feature available , It is a very good idea indeed but needs to be designed and implemented for users the same way it is currently happening in Unified Model Driven apps.
