Common Data Services Capacity/Memory

Hello Everyone,

Do we get only 200 MB per user memory for CDS with Power Plan 2? Can we buy additional memory? How much does it cost? My Organizations database size is approximately 90 GB  that we want to load (import) to CDS entities.

Is it possible to do that or not?

Thanks!

    Hi @Adeeba ,

There is the similar case as yours, please reference :

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Common-Data-Service-for-Apps/CDS-for-Apps-database-storage/m-p/132370#M416

However, 10 GB capacity for CDS has been removed. Currently, the default capacity for CDS per PowerApps Plan 2 license is 200 MB.

If you want to buy additional capacity for CDS, please consider submit an assisted support ticket through the following link:

    Best Regards.

    Hi @v-yuxima-msft,

In the most recent PDF of Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents Licensing Guide, it is still stated that default capacity is provided when purchasing any one of the licenses:

    PowerPlatform_DefaultCapacity.jpg

    So if:

    1. a tenant would purchase one Power App per app license it would get a default capacity of 1GB
    2. a tenant would purchase one Power App per user license it would get a default capacity of 10GB

What do you mean with "10 GB capacity for CDS has been removed"??
