Row Summary wont let me add or remove fields

I was able to initially add a couple of fields to the row summary to test out on our opportunity entity, but when I go in to add or remove fields, I get the "Duplicate dynamic values are not allowed" prompt.

Please see the screen shot showing only the record ID. I also tried removing all fields and the prompt still shows. I assume this is what is preventing me from saving. Any ideas? Thank you.

    Hello  ,

Thank you for providing the screenshot. That's a tricky error to run into, especially when it blocks you from saving even after you've removed all the fields. This is a known issue that can sometimes pop up when the system's cache gets a bit confused.

The error "Duplicate dynamic value names are not allowed" typically means that the configuration screen believes you have added the same field or a field with the same underlying name more than once, even if you can't see it in the user interface. The fact that it's stuck on "RecordId" and won't let you proceed is a strong indicator that a previous configuration is "stuck" in the background.

Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this, starting with the most common and easiest fix:

    • Hard Refresh and Clear Cache The most likely culprit is your browser's cache holding onto an old version of the configuration.
      • First, close the "Opportunity row summary" configuration pane.
      • In your browser, perform a hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + F5 (or Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac).
      • For a more thorough approach, clear your browser's cache completely and then restart the browser.
      • Afterward, navigate back to the row summary configuration and try again.
    • Use a Different Browser or Incognito Mode If a hard refresh doesn't work, the issue might be isolated to your current browser profile or an extension.
      • Try editing the row summary using a different web browser (like Edge if you're on Chrome, or vice-versa).
      • Alternatively, open an Incognito or Private browsing window, log into the Power Apps maker portal, and try to edit the summary there. This will ensure no cached data or extensions are interfering.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, it might indicate a deeper problem with the configuration state on the backend. In that case, you may need to wait a short while and try again, as it could be a temporary service-side glitch.

However, clearing the browser cache almost always resolves this specific problem.

I hope this helps you get unblocked!

    Best Regards,
    Jerald Felix

@Jerry-IN I no longer see Row Summary for Lead or Opportunity entities. It still shows for other tables... I cleared cache and  tried a different browser.

    What changed??
