I am currently working on a PowerApp and need help extracting gallery item data from a SharePoint list to a Word (template) or Excel document using PowerApp. I've tried several approaches but haven't been able to achieve the desired result.
Basically I want the user to click on a download button to trigger the excel/word document completion, then this file would be sent to him by email.
Here's what I've done so far:
- Created a gallery in PowerApp that displays items from my SharePoint list.
- I have tried to fill a word template using a manual trigger in Power Automate it worked
- Attempted to use Power Automate flows to transfer the gallery data to a Word template using Power App as a trigger, but I'm having trouble configuring the actions correctly.
Has anyone successfully done this or have any suggestions on the best way to proceed? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
