Can someone put me in the direction of some resources on how to set up email functionality in a model driven app / solution

You can use a power automate flow that triggers with a button in your app or if you uses outlook, you can create a Outlook connection and after that you can use the Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2() function.

Sorry but this isn't quite what I was looking for. I am very familiar with using the outlook connection in canvas apps and using Power Automate and the outlook connection their to automate sending emails. I am looking for information on email configuration for specifically model-driven apps/dynamics 365 where I need to configure the mailboxes / server profiles etc.
