problem with combobox, o365useres and defaultselecteditems

I have a combobox configured to search o365users so I can search and select people in the organisation. On submission it writes to a single column in SQL.

It works well, apart from the defaultselecteditems property always adds the second account seen above.
It happens if I manually select one or more users, after saving and reopening the form 'exchange online-applicationAcount' has always been tagged on at the end.

I believe it is because I have a ; at the end of the last account when submitted.
in SQL it looks like this

DefaultSelectedItems property

ForAll(
Split(
 Gallery.Selected.ProjectSponsor,
 ";"
 ),
 First(
 Office365Users.SearchUserV2(
 {
 searchTerm: Result,
 top: 1
 }
 ).value
 )
)

and Update

Concat(ComboBox1.SelectedItems, DisplayName & ";")

Does anyone have any suggestions?

    @nick9one1

    Please consider changing your Formula to the following:

    ForAll(
     Filter(
     Split(Gallery.Selected.ProjectSponsor, ";"),
     !IsBlank(Result)
     ),
     First(
     Office365Users.SearchUserV2(
     {searchTerm: Result,top: 1}
     ).value
     )
    )

    I hope this is helpful for you.
