Hi everyone,
I’m building a Power Automate flow where I call an agent (like a Copilot AI) inside a Teams meeting. The flow only gives me the Meeting ID / Conversation ID, but I want to capture the actual response from the agent.
I’m not sure how to use this ID to fetch the agent’s messages. Can anyone guide me on:
How to get the agent’s messages using the Meeting/Conversation ID?
How to filter the messages to only get the agent’s response?
Thanks in advance for any advice or examples!
@Michael E. Gernaey Hi, thanks a lot for the detailed explanation — that really helped me understand why the conversation/meeting ID alone isn’t reliable for pulling the agent’s response.
In my case, the agent is triggered inside a Teams meeting, and the goal is to capture its response text so I can reuse it in my flow (for example, posting it back into Teams or storing it in SharePoint).
I found that one possible workaround is to have the agent’s output sent by email, and then I can use Power Automate to take the email body and post it into a Teams chat or channel. That seems like a more stable approach than trying to poll the conversation ID.
Do you think this “email → Teams/chat” approach is the right direction, or is there a cleaner way to make the agent’s response available to the flow directly?
Thanks again for guiding me through this!
