All my Power Pages Contact Forms give an error: The record you are looking for couldn't be found.

Can anyone assist, please?

    • Check if you have accidentally deleted any records that are related to the form, such as the entity, the form, or the form session. You can try to restore them from the recycle bin or create new ones.
    • Check if you have changed the record source of the form or any of its steps. Make sure that the record source is valid and matches the entity that the form is using. You can also try to select the option “Current portal user” as the record source every time you save the form or the step.
    • Check if you have enabled or disabled custom errors on your website. Custom errors can sometimes interfere with the form functionality and cause unexpected errors. You can try to toggle the custom error setting and see if it makes any difference. You can learn how to enable or disable custom errors in this article: View error logs.

I check and no record was deleted. I also disabled the Custom error but the error still persist. Even if I add a simple form to the site it doesn't work. We recreated the entire site and it worked for a while then the issue started happening with the new site also.

When does it occur? e.g. on attempting to open a record or when you submit?

If it is when you save/submit, it is most likely a Lookup field that the user either does not have adequate Table Permissions for or you are populating a Lookup with a value that does not exist in Dataverse.

    It occurs on submit
