Cameral Control Mirroring Image

I have several camera controls that work fine, except the image that the user sees when taking their picture is mirrored.

Devices:  Ipads and Iphones (Several different devices.   All quite new).
Camera:  The one facing the user.   The one facing away from the user works fine.
When:  When the camera image is streaming, prior to capturing the image.
Image:  The actual captured image is not mirrored.. .just the streaming preview.  But users find it really strange and always move the tablet the wrong way when adjusting their face in the preview.

I've seen a LOT of support articles on this issue, but none that clarify what the issue or the fix is.   Most articles seem to state that the issue has been resolved, but clearly it's not resolved on my app.    Since it happens on several different devices, I'm assuming it's an app setting?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Ryan

THIS DID NOT WORK.   STILL LOOKING FOR HELP PLEASE.

(Possibly resolved this..... I just saw this from another post.   I'm trying it.

"I made a test on my own IOS phone on PowerApps Version from 3.20091.41 to 3.20094.24, it's always a mirrored image when using front camera. Even with the system's own camera, the front camera is a mirror image. Hence, I prefer to think this is a difference of front camera between IOS and Android.

The workaround: If you have upgraded your iOS devices to iOS 14, you can mirror the front camera from setting - Camera to turn on the Mirror Front Camera.")

    Hello,

I was doing some investigation on this and found that we removed the logic for mirroring the front camera quite awhile ago.  If you have followed the instructions below to turn off front camera mirroring and it still happens in the mobile app, we should probably open a case with Microsoft to investigate further.

    Thanks for the response.

Point of clarification:   We are running on iPads - not iPhones.    I have updated to the newest version of the software and the camera mirroring option described in the link doesn’t seem to exist in the iPad.   (I haven’t tried the suggested fix with an iPhone yet, because we intend to run the app on iPads, so it doesn’t really matter if it works on my phone...   but will later today for troubleshooting purposes).

How do I escalate this to Microsoft support ticket?

    Thanks.
