Exporting App and Datasource to external user.

Hello all,

I have developed an application for an external client and I want to export the solution to them. I have tried this by exporting the solution as a zip file and though the client is able to access the application, the datasource(SharePoint) could not be shared with them. Adding them as external (Guest) users is not feasible due to IT policy so I thought of exporting the SharePoint site as a template that they can further set up in their environment. Is this a feasible solution? Please suggest if there any alternatives.

I have suggested this solution to the client. Though I have not received confirmation to proceed with this, I'm marking this as solved as this is the most viable option given the situation.

    Thank you.

Unfortunately the function of exporting SharePoint Lists as templates is not longer available. It is not a lot of work however to replicate the Lists on their site (just document the schema) and then export the data as Excel and it can be imported back in with Power Automate. You will also need to set up the Environment Variables in their site, so any future exported Solution and be easily linked to their copy of the Lists.
