When I try to open my gallery list item. I get a page that just says "Getting your data...."

In order to help other community users who might have a similar issue and find this thread: I think my suggestion on your previous post will do the trick. After submitting a form, you will need to create a new instance of that form - either via NewForm(formName) or EditForm(formName).
The Items property will be GalleryName.Selected and the Datasource will have to be the same as the gallery.
