Canvas App Dropdown - have a title in the dropdown

To save space with a label, is there a way to put the title of a dropdown in the dropdown itself.

IE the dropdown would say "Number of Rooms", and on selection would then show the numbers in a drop down?

You can do it with HTML, just never seen it done with a Canvas App

    You can use the tooltip to save real estate.  Another advantage is that you can have over 1000 characters in the tooltip.

    Thank you @Drrickryp  but I want/need it to appear in the dropdown and disappear not as a tooltip

    @lee-martin,

    You can use InputTextPlaceHolder and NoSelectionText property of the Dropdown to say "Number of Rooms".
    And remove the label or make its visibility false

    @Anonymous  Where would I find those properties?

    Hello @lee-martin,

    1. Please select the Dropdown/ComboBox.
    2. Then at the Top-Left Corner under the New-Screens Option, you will find Property Dropdown
    3. You can select or search the properties related to ComboBox/Dropdown
    4. In there you will find those properties (InputTextPlaceholder, NoSelectionText) and modify them.
    5. Refer to the highlighted part of the below screenshot.

    After selection, it will show the number (You can select multiple if your fields SelectMultiple Property is true same as IsSearchable)
