I've created an app where the staff of an organisation can view their feedback. The app is connected to an excel table as its Data source. Due to it having sensitive information, staff cannot have access to the excel document.
I've noticed when staff log into the app they need to provide permissions for the app to carry out actions in excel using their connection, because of this they cannot view the data on the app. Is there a way to have staff connect to my connection upon logging into the app, I know using flow authors connection is availiable on power automate but I can't seem to find the same feature on PowerApps.
Other than the Power Automate path which you have mentioned, the only way for a user to access any data source directly in Power Apps is to have the appropriate permissions in that Data Source, as all connections are authenticated when the app opens to ensure that they are valid.
