Custom Canvas App size when integrated to Dynamics 365

Hi,

I have build a custom canvas app that we integrated in a Form on Dynamics 365, however I get some unused space that I'm not able to get rid of.. I have marked the size of the app with yellow background but you can see in the image below it will take up more space than that. Any ideas why that is?

Hi @MASA,

I made a test on my side, but don't have the issue you mentioned.
Have you customed the Height and Width of App?

Could you try to delete the canvas app in Field Properties and re-create one, custom the Height and Width and disable the 'Scale to fit' and 'Lock aspect ratio' function under Screen Size Setting?

Hi @v-siky-msft ,

yes, when I created the App on our dev instance from scratch and created it through Dynamics 365 the size is correct, however when I need to get the app out to out production instance I create an export package in our dev instance and import it into our prod instance and just change the app id on the account form. And then the App will show the wrong size and i seem not able to change it

any ideas?

Hi @MASA ,

I would recommend you to re-create the app in prod instance.
You are able to cut, copy and paste canvas app controls across different apps in PowerApps web studio, so it would be easy to re-create an app.
