How can i rename a SQL Server Connection's Display Name?

Hello,

I have a bunch of SQL Connectors in my environment, which is shared with other users. I am getting lost when trying to add new ones or select which one I want. In make.powerapps.com > Dataverse > Connections, I already have 4 that look exactly the same. The Display Name is my email and underneath it says "SQL Server"

If I click "Edit", a new window opens and I can edit the Display Name or the Connection Type. When I edit the display name, nothing happens and the name remains the same.

Am I missing something? Is there another screen to edit this? I can't be the only one with this problem.

Thanks

    Hi @aa123

We can't rename the connections. Only remove the connections which not used by any app or flow.

Open each connection and verify each connection is used by which PowerApps and Flows.

    • Go to Make.powerapps.com
    • Select the environment
    • Select the Connection
    • Go to Details
    • Check both tabs (Apps using this connection and Flows using this connection )

Delete the connection if not used by any powerapps or flow.

Then how do I know what goes where? Why doesn't the input work? Is there a workaround or tip that someone can give?
