adding item List data as array in Power Apps

Hi everyone,

I have a screenshot of app which is List-data based, and this item has column "Reminders" whereas when user clicks this button, it adds him into an array of User() object emails. So then when I want to do a Flow later on to send auto emails with item data as reminders, it sends to all emails inside. That is the idea, but I don't know how can I append to array in Power Apps?

If somebody has an idea how to do it, please link to arrays of this case or sth.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @NidjoJohnny22 ,

    Please use a collection to add the email IDs into it. And for Sending Email you can use the SendEmailV2 in PowerApps. Or if you want to send it to Power Automate , send this collection as a JSON , and iterate over it with apply to each to send email to each individual.

    If this helps, please give this a thumbs up and accept this as a solution.

    Thanks,

    Hi @SanmeshG, so I should collect the data and put into array? bcz I'd like to save that data into the List

    Hi @NidjoJohnny22 ,

    How are you saving the data in SP list , in one single column as JSON(in a multiple lines of text column), then you can just pass the JSON data as a collection and save it in SP list with Patch function.

    And then maybe based on your trigger the flow will run and you can parse that JSON and send email.

    okay I will try that... do you know maybe of some working example for Json?

    Hi @SanmeshG , I find this very helpful because I can connect it with other example of collect! I will try it out my way for sure, but before that I wonder, which event can trigger the "collect" function? Does it have to be form submittal or something? Can I use the CB OnChange or some event?

    @NidjoJohnny22 ,

    This formula is written on the onselect property on the check icon in the gallery

    @SanmeshG Thank you for info, I have just tried it in the gallery and it works perfectly fine!

    Still going to investigate about forms and such options. I belive I will have to use the LastSubmit there to get access to data which I need...
