Modern date picker issues: leaving it blank once date selected & date format

So yay for this modern date picker! However this has some shortcomings that the classic one didn't have: I want date displayed as "dd/MM/yyyy" and the only display I can get is "MM/dd/yyyy".

Furthemore, it is impossible for this control to go blank once a date has been selected. I assume something can be done with a button where when you press it it makes this control go blank. however my app has like 10 date pickers so this is not a good way to go. No way to do like the classic date picker and just erase the selected date?

    Hi @WorkingRicardo ,

They are simply currently lacking a heap of features compared with Classic - this will improve going forward, but to be honest I will not be using them in Production apps for some time yet I suspect.

Hey @WarrenBelz  ty for your reply.

Yeah, the problem is that the users asked for this control because of the hassle of being a slower date picker the classic option. So I have no choice but to figure out how to make this modern one work

    Hi @WorkingRicardo ,

Modern Controls are mainly still in Preview and very much "Work in Progress" as well as at times being inconsistent/unstable. If one is not doing what you need, I suggest you revert to the classic item.
