hello,
After changing the agent name in Copilot Studio, I’m having an issue because the Microsoft Teams app on my PC still remembers the old name and has it saved in the app data on the computer. On the phone, the chat immediately displays the correct name, but on the computer, the old name still appears. How can I force the new name to be saved and fetched? I need the new name to show up for all users, but I don’t necessarily want to delete data files locally on each computer from the Teams app.

Try to clear the cache on your computer and see if it helps, If it does you can consider writing a PS script and scheduling it through the Endpoint portal to be able to clear the cache on the computers you have.

The issue you are experiencing is due to caching in Microsoft Teams on your PC. When you rename your Copilot Studio agent, the new name may take time to propagate across all platforms because Microsoft Teams caches bot data locally.
As the name updates instantly on mobile but not on the desktop app, it indicates that the desktop version is still using cached data. Try below solution-
1. Sign out of Teams, fully close the app, then sign back in.
2. If the name still doesn't update, clear the Teams cache by deleting files in %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams.
3. Republish the bot in Copilot Studio to force a refresh.
