Hi,

Is Microsoft planning to fix the modern combobox before dropping the classic version?

It’s been around two years since it was first introduced. It’s out of preview mode, I’ve seen numerous posts about issues with it and still the control doesn’t clear after selection. Refreshing the control doesn’t work.

And can we get the options to display more than one field or deselect? These really feel like basic functions for a combobox?

Sure it looks better, but I still can’t drop the classic control and this causes a lesser issue with elements not looking the same.

Hi @Samand,

Firstly, I cannot imagine any classic controls being "dropped" anytime soon (or later for that matter) - it would break so many apps that are working perfectly on the classic controls. I would hope that they simply remain as an alternative.

MS however are constantly working to improve these controls and I would hope that they at least match the classic functionality sooner rather than later.

Hi @WarrenBelz,

We can only hope that you are right and MS fix modern controls instead of just removing the classic versions (which aren’t perfect either) from the Power App Studio.
