We use static HTML files as a knowledge source for Copilot. When we update these files by replacing older versions with new ones, does Copilot automatically: (1) re-learn from the updated content, and (2) lose previously established distinctions between good and bad answers?

If you are overwriting it should not. If you are deleting and then re-adding the file to the same location then yeah it most likely will as its file identifier is different and you will be lucky it see's it at all.

Static HTML has been one of my sore points, not like Excel, but close. you should be fine.

My recommendation though, do a test on a separate test agent.
