Modern Control TabList Navigation Bar issue inside of a Component

This question was answered for a screen here:

Building-Power-Apps/Modern-Control-TabList-Navigation-Bar-issue 

 

But that solution doesn't work if the TabList is inside of a Component, used for Navigation.

 

Any ideas on how make a simple navigation reusable control?
