Modell-driven App - Add an empty page (not custom) to embed a custom page

Hello,

is there a way to create an empty page (not bound to an table) in a model driven app.

If I use custom pages diretly, it does not look that nice.

I woud like to embed one (or more) custom page (canvas) in the same layout as the other model driven pages, so that all looks nearly the same. And this way i could allign multiple canvas apps in one page.

But i found no way to add an empty modell-driven page (not bound to an table)

Any idea is welcome

    Hi @SLMR,

Model-driven views/forms are always built on top of a dataset. In order to add a blank look-a-like view, I use Custom Pages and recreate the model-driven View experience manually. It takes a bit of time to find the perfect UI but, once made, it can be reused across your other Custom Pages. (Build one as a template and create copies)

In order to speed up your development and provide a more consistent look and feel, you could take a look at the Microsoft Creator Kit.

If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    Hi @SLMR

Another method is to create an HTML file. Within this, you would add one or iframes that point to the URL of your canvas app(s).

Next, you would upload this HTML file as a web resource

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/model-driven-apps/create-edit-web-resources

From the model app designer, can then add a link in the navigation to your HTML page web resource.

    Thanks,

i will try it with the Creator kit first.

But it is good to have multiple choices.

Have a good start in the new week
