Storage Capacity problem

Hi all,

I am having problem with the storage capacity of the environment.

At first, I registered trial license for Dynamics 365 but when I login into power platform admin, it showed a yellow line "Your organization can transition to the capacity model when your current term ends or at renewal." and no default storage. I could not create a new environment because I had no available storage. Then I cancelled the Dynamics 365 subscription and registered a new trial license of PowerApps per User.

I allocated the license to my account and login into the  power platform admin, but the problem was still there.

Does anyone has the same problem? Please check the attached file for the error detail.

Trial licenses don't provide the same capacity as paid licenses.  So with a trial license you will be limited to the default environment and can't create new environments.  You should be able to create an environment that doesn't have CDS, since that doesn't consume capacity.  But to create a second environment you will need a paid license.

in fact, it doesn't matter if you want to create an environment with or without cds. it always requires a gig of free space.

And the problem is I even don't have enough 1 GB to create a new environment.

You get a default environment at this point no matter what.  its just whether you can create a second environment or not.  With a trial or an Office 365 license alone you can't

    Hi @trucbinh ,

I agree with @Anonymous 's thought almost. Regardless of whether or not you create a Environment with a CDS database, you must own 1GB available database capacity.

Please check the following article for more details:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/create-environment#create-an-environment-without-a-database

Currently, for PowerApps Trial License, it does not count against capacity and show as 0GB within the Storage Capacity. So if you want to create a new Environment with Trial license of PowerApps, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps.

    Best regards,
