When i select a Dataverse Table and then select Add Record, how do I know which form is the default form for adding data.  I can set the Default View , but how do I set the default form for adding records ?

Thanks

    Hello @Daved1 ,

Default form when you're adding record in Dataverse would be "MainForm" , In This tab you have your default main form:

In there you can edit the field you're adding,

If you want to have another form and change it to the defualt it's possible in the "Old" layout ,

1)Click on the cog Icon on your main make.powerapps.com page

    2) Click on "Advanced Settings"

    3) Click on the Down Arrow button near setting and go to system customizations

    4) Go to the default solution (or yours if you have any), Find your Entity and in the forms tab check "Form Order" and click on "Main form Set" then you can reorder them with a buttton, youre done 🙂

If you want to see the whole process from setting new Column to view it in View mode and Add it to the default form go here:

    Hope that helped,

In the modern interface you can select the "Form Settings" here:

This will present you with the current form order (showing you which form will be displayed first) and also allow you to set a fallback form and check which security groups have access to the form you are creating.

If you are working on a new entity it could be that the users that you intent to share the model-driven app with do not have the correct access through their assigned security role. You can check this using the "Form Access Checker"
