Specific User unable to Access any PowerApps ("Try sending again. There was a problem and we couldn't send the request.")

I have a recent hire who is unable to access any PowerApps.

When he opens any PowerApp link in a browser (tried both Chrome and Edge, and incognito mode in Chrome), he receives this error message "Try sending again. There was a problem and we couldn't send the request."

When the user attempts to open any PowerApp link from within Microsoft Teams, he receives a different error ("There was a problem reaching this app"):

I have confirmed that this user:

- has logged out and logged back in

- has tried accessing these tools on different hardware

- has the same Azure licenses assigned to them as other users who are able to access the apps:

- has the same PowerPlatform roles assigned to them as other users who are able to access the apps:

I also tried removing and reassigning both the license on Azure and the Role in PowerPlatform.

Any ideas or recommendations for where to look to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance.

Can you open the Power Platform Environment and from setting, look for users.

Does this new hire is showing up in the list of users in dataverse?

Also, does the user have App opener role or basic role assigned?

if not, try adding it and give proper access tole.

Thank you for your response, this did not resolve the problem.

The user is in the list of dataverse users, and although the user did not have the "App Opener" role, adding that role resulted in no change with the access issues.

If there are any other ideas to pursue, I would be thankful!

What datasource is your app connected to.

Make sure you grant access to the datasource as well. At least the read permissions.

Also ask user to clear cache and try to access again?

Once you do that, are you still getting the same error?
