I am trying to have a button (pencil) icon that when you click it  - you can edit that specific record (opens to a form).  I'm trying to get a formula in the Item property so that its the ID for the selected item in that gallery, however having trouble.  So if they click on the pencil it's ID 7 that populates in the form to edit.  I've tried both formulas here but no luck.  Any help is appreciated.

    I would help if you could share the Items property of the gallery. Also, if you could hover on the error to see what it says, that could be helpful as well.

    Thanks,
    Nandit

    Hi,
    As per your second image, your formula should work.

    Ensure that the gallery's data source matches the form's data source. The SharePoint list should be the same in both places.

    The top one should work.
    LookUp(
       Coaching_1,
       ID = Gal_Drafts.Selected.ID
    )
    What is the Items of the Gallery ?
