Writing Data To Look Up using Alternate Keys : Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Pipelines

Hi,
 
I have 2 tables Contact and Policy. Policy has a lookup for Contact.
 
On Contact I have an alternate Key defined.  I want to import data for Policy table and auto populate contact lookup using Alternate Key. I read this article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/connector-dynamics-crm-office-365?tabs=data-factory#writing-data-to-a-lookup-field and tried implementing the same via Azure Data Factory but it doesn't work.
 
Can someone help on this ?

    By the Microsoft documentation it is only in none mode that is allowed using alternative key
