Hi,

My source is SQL Server Tables. I am trying to get a form to reference another.

The List in the Header Screen is a Gallery referencing the table @'[dbo].[Projects] in SQL.

In the Detail Screen I have created a form where I am trying to use the item selected above. However I get the Invalid formula.

Anyone got any ideas to help me here.

thanks

Darren

    Detail Form Datasource '[dbo].[Projects]'

    Detail Form Items Gall_Projects.selected

    Gall_Project Items '[dbo].[Projects]' (thus remove the @)

Is your form and gallery on the same screen. They must be on same screen.
I have been following this and it works for Sql
    1. Insert a Gallery1 and set it items to your datasource
    2. On your Form set it's items to Gallery1.selected.
    3. Set the default Displaymode to Displaymode.edit
    4. Now when you click on any item in the Gallery1, you can edit on the form.

Thanks for your help. I found the issue was with the List Form Gallery Items Control. This is what it should have been set to.
