PowerApps vs PowerApps for Teams

Having worked on my first PowerApp, I found out that there is a PowerApps for Teams that you start within Teams.  I have not subscribed to the Paid Dataverse so I found I can use a version of that in Teams.

The Canvas app within Teams is different as the fields, for example Labels, differ than working on the make.powerapps.com website.

Can you create your Apps on the website, then import them into Teams?  Or will the Dataverse table cause issues?

    @billf24 ,

    Short answer: No

    Longer answer: Dataverse and Dataverse for Teams use different environments. You can export a Canvas Apps created outside of Dataverse for Teams, and import it into Dataverse for Teams, but that Canvas App will

    still be referencing the Dataverse environment it was created in and will require users have a premium licence to access it.

    Ok, Understood, but why is the PowerApps interface different in Teams?

    I was trying to copy responsiveHeader into Teams, using the same icon, labels and images, the properties were not the same.

    @billf24 the reason for the differences between the two versions is not documented anywhere as far as I am aware. I am guessing Microsoft have limited the scope of Canvas Apps for Teams to ensure it runs optimally from the Teams interface only, whereas a Canvas App created outside of Teams can be launched from a browser directly.
