Copilot Studio agent integrated in PowerApp in region Europe

Hello,

I have a doubt, we are integrating an agent developed with Copilot Studio in a Power App, in development mode (in the Copilot Studio portal) it works correctly, but when integrating it in the Power App configuration, the agent does not start and the message "Sorry, I don't know that one yet, but I'm always learning".

We are seeing that in environments in the United States region it works fine, but our Power App is in an environment in the Europe region.

Is this the reason why it is not working? I don't see anything in the documentation that indicates this. If so, is there any bypass or forecast of when it will work in Europe?

Hello,

Copilot Studio on the first screen is a tool to create custom agents for various purposes. You can publish them and add to many channels, like Teams, custom website, Messenger etc. - you can check it on Channels tab in Copilot Studio. What you've opened on the second screen is an agent which was created by Microsoft to help develop PowerApps. It's something different. If you'd like to publish your custom agent and use it, you need to publish it to the channel.

I suggest you to review this docs: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-copilot-studio/fundamentals-get-started?tabs=web. Deploy an agent step by step.

Hello,

Yes, you can add the copilot agent in a channel, e.g. Teams. I have tested it and it works.

But you can also add the copilot agent in the Power App settings (Attached are new screens):

You can also integrate it as a component or at a general level:

And we are seeing that in a Power App in a United States environment it works, but in a Power App in a European environment it does not.

And I don't understand why in the copilot studio portal creating the agent in the Europe environment, it works there. But when you add it in the power app configuration and publish, then it doesn't work.

Hello,

thanks for that! Didn't know about this. :-) Then it should be possible to integrate. I've tested it on my tenant - I also have it in Europe - and it seems to be hanging somehow. It's a preview feature so they can just roll it back, I'd suggest to avoid using it until it'll become stable. I have the same error:

We are having the same issue in Europe region only. The integration of our Power App with our Copilot Studio agent works in the US. Is there any word from Microsoft on confirmation of this issue and plans to remediate or alternate settings to get around this?
