Dynamics 365 Customer service How to export database and store it on local SQL server

We are looking to close down a production environment of our Dynamics 365 customer service.

We want to export and store the data somewhere so that we don't have to pay for licenses and still have access to the data.

Could anyone advise the best way to do this?

    Hi @carav

On which version of Dynamics 365 you were using. Are you using Online or Onprem.

    Cheers,

    Hi @carav

These are the few options you have, you may choose the one relevant to you..

    Use Data Export Service:

Microsoft provides the Data Export Service, which can replicate your Dynamics 365 data to a Microsoft Azure SQL Database. From there, you can use Azure SQL Database tools to export the data to a local SQL Server.

    Use Data Integration Tools:

You can use third-party data integration tools like KingswaySoft, Scribe, or SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to extract data from Dynamics 365 Online and load it into a local SQL Server. These tools provide connectors and adapters for Dynamics 365 Online and SQL Server.

I would suggest you to try out with Data Integration tools.

    Hope this helps..
