I have a Component library to show menu/sub-menu items:-

and i am using this component library inside my canvas app:-

now i need to get the menu item name, that was selected by the user. as i need many links to navigate to the same screen , but i need to pass different variables. i tried to set a variable inside my component library named "globalscreenname", but seems this var is not available inside the canvas app.. any advice? how i can have a cross-app variable ?

Thanks

To pass a value from the component back to the canvas app you need to create an Output Property in the component.  Go to the Custom Properties section of the Properties panel on the right and when creating a new custom property choose Output as the type.  You can then have the component set the property and it will be visible in the canvas app as a property of the component you add.

thanks i tried this, but each screen will have a different Component library, so if i am at screen A and i click on screen B to navigate to it. so how i can know that the user click on ScreenB ? when i navigate to screen B? i have around 35 screens.. not sure how i can manage this?

The navigation links do not have an OnSelect() property, so i have to depend on OnVisible property for each screen,, but when i am on screenB , how i can knowt hat i need the SelectedItem name that the user clicked on on screen A and not on screen C for example?
