Hi Experts,

I have created an app that uses

Standard entities (i.e Accounts)
SQL Server Connector
Bing Maps Connector.
Office 365 Users

I want to achieve two things:

Sell the app to our customers and the general public.
Do not allow people to be able to edit the app

I have already created a canvas app with the specs above. However, when I add the app inside a solution and exported it as a managed solution, I can't run the app after importing the app to a different environment. The SQL Server and Bing maps connection need to be manually created inside the app after it imported on a different environment. And that requires editing the app, which we do not want to happen.

So, I want to be able to sell the app with the above specs to public without letting them edit the app? I am open to trying anything to make this work. Thank you!

Sadly I can't think of anyway that would allow you to configure the application on installation but given that you are using the standard entities what is the reason you using SQL for the rest of the system?

Could you recreate the things that are in SQL as entities?
