Hi there,

Looking at the current Power Automate licenses (Premium and Process), I would like some advice on which licenses would be best to use for the following scenarios.

  1. We have several SharePoint sites, each with a process that updates metadata in a SP library (and includes approvals in MS Teams). We use only SP and Teams Approval connectors.
    My question is: can we use only one account with a standard free license for this scenario or should we buy additional premium licence for the service account or for each user that triggers the flow?

Can you please provide me with some guidance?

    @Jakub8 - assuming you're using the "Update file properties" (SharePoint) action to update metadata in your SharePoint library, this is a Standard connector.

     

    So long as the Teams Approval action is not associated to a Premium data source (e.g. Dataverse or SQL), then this would come under a Standard connector as well.

     

    Each of your users who have Standard accounts can trigger the flow without any need for Premium.
