Egnyte Connector to power apps

Hi there,

I have a canvas power app. I noticed that there is an Egnyte connector available. I am exploring ways where users can download files directly to their device. The egnyte connector has a method of getFileContent. However, I am not sure how to use this to download the file. I have tried to use the expression in a variable and also use it directly in the Download function but it does not seem to work.

PS. In the egnyte documentation connector it only states the http api calls and what they do. It does not explain anything about the methods in power apps.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Get File content gets the Base64 encoded contents of the file. It doesn't access the file itself.  You can use that to create a file in OneDrive and then create a sharing link that you can send to someone so they can download the file.  But I'm not aware of any way to actually send the file itself.

@Pstork1 thank you for your answer. Perhaps I might need to use directly the rest api to actually download the file.

However, I will leave this open for a bit to see if anyone has any other ideas regarding the connector
