Button to display total entries from O365 list

Trying to figure out how to get a button, or if there is something more appropriate than a button (?),  to display the total number of entries from a SharePoint online list, based on filtering.

I don't need a sum of the total of data in the field, as they are not numeric fields. Just need to know how many entries there are based on todays date and if a column = no.

Can anyone lend a hand on how I go about doing this? I'm very green with powerapps!

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi @jster24

    To show a nubmer of records from datasource you can use

    CountRows()

    If you give us more info on what is your data structure and where it is held we can help you more.

    In general you would put this function in a Label.Text property:

    CountRows(
     Filter(
     YourDataSource,
     YourDateColumn = Today(),
     YourYesNoColumn = "no"
     )
    )

    @Anonymous thanks! You pointed me on the right path. I just had to tweak my column to have ".value" appended to it for PowerApps to accept it, and also used the CountIf function

    CountIf('DataSource', Created = Today(), Column1.Value= "Select")
