    Hi,

If you need multiple selection on a table Lookup field, you need to use a grid on your form :).

Otherwise, maybe you need a multi selection option field ? You need to have an option column on your table. *Make sure you check 'Allow multiple selection':

Now that your column is created, you need it into your form (on Make.powerapps.com, find your table and go on Main form). Save and publish. No need of PCF ;)

    I hope it helps!

    Hi @GabGadou

    Thanks for the reply.

Can you please advise how it can be done using grid. I have a column Vendors_Involved which is a lookup column to a Master table.
I want the user to select multiple vendors and save that data.

    Hi!

Let me try on the explanation :)

First, on tables you have forms which are used inside your model-driven app. You have to add a grid on the entity's form containing the 'wanted' lookup. Once you reached your form, you add a grid in a new section:

It will let you choose if you want associated records or not. I assume you will need to choose associated ones (associated = related to your entity's records) and you choose 'Master' table (in my case, Office Items table).

You should get something like that on your form:

From now, it is customization. You don't want the grid label, you remove it, if you want to use a specific view for your grid, if you want to add a graphic to your grid, etc. Once you have published changes, you will be able to select multiple records form a related table on your form:

Let me know if you need more help!

I have created the sub grid and can select multiple records, which is great!
How can I store the values of selected records in a dataverse column? I have a multi line column called Parties Involved, how can I store the Beneficiary ID of selected records? Or saving it in another table with Parent ID and sub grid id would also do.

Actually, if you use 'related records' on the grid, records are already stored in a 'relationship' table, which you can use everywhere you want by accessing 'relationship name' like a table. If you really want to save only selected records in a new field, you can use a powerautomate flow (triggered on new command button in grid command bar) to save every records ID field (or Name, or whatever you need) into your new column of current form's record.

Let us know what is exactly your need and if you need further informations about the command button, it will be a pleasure to help you with that.
