Hi all,
I am having a problem where a specific user cannot access Dataverse tables using Power Apps.
The error they are having is as follows:
"You don't have permission to view this data. Server response: <table> failed. The user is not a member of the organization".
The user has permission to access the table however the only difference from other users is that they have an apostrophe in their email address. From the wording of the error could this be an issue with how the data is being queried through the app? the issue appears to be triggered by a simple Filter function.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced this error and was able to resolve this.
Many thanks!
Hi @Anonymous,
While I can't be certain that it's the root cause, it is recommended to remove special characters including an apostrophe from the user's mail or proxyaddress attribute in your organization's on-premise Active directory as it can cause issues across M365 and related services.
Additionally, can you confirm the user is assigned a security group that has access to the table in question?
