Power apps form loading slowly for one user but not others

Hi All,

Our power apps form recently went through some changes and one user is having an issue with load time. It's taking at least 30 seconds longer than others for the form and data to show up. Internet, VPN, RAM all are the same as other users. Any thoughts on troubleshooting or what might be causing this issue?

Hi,

Do you have AppOnstart set to Async?

I cannot identify, but things like, number of records they are pulling versus others, delegation issues, retries etc.

What I would do is add Trace statements to everything that happens as they try to log in.

Then you can use Monitor to review those trace statements.

note also, as you doing your work (when possible) wrapped in Concurrent?

Trace Example in App.OnStart

Trace("Grabbing data from X Table " & Now() or Today or whatever way to capture the time you want)

Work

Trace("Completed getting data from X Table " & Now() or Today or whatever way to capture the time you want)

Etc

This way you can try to see whats taking the real time.

Some other points to note:

Check browser settings of the user, check if javascripts and scripts are enabled for url and not blocking, and also add powerapps site to safe list.

Check if caches are clear.

Check if User name has any conflicts (like same type of name but change in email address) this will not be an issue but in case if something is clashing then its good to know.

Check if this user has permissions to data sets which are getting load into app on start etc.
