PowerApps Distinct formula - All data not being returned

Hello,

I am customizing a SharePoint Form in SharePoint online using PowerApps. I am retrieving data into to a combo box using the following formula:

Distinct(CityToBranch_Lookup, Province)

Although the list I am retrieving data from contains less than 3500 records, all the provinces in the list are not being returned. I would like to know how I can have all available values returned. I am only receiving 4 of the 5 options back to my combo box.

thanks,
Sherazad

Is that an actual lookup or you just named it with lookup?

Also, are you seeing any delegation warnings?

I'd really like to see the data (at least some) as well as a little more detail around the relationship between the data.

How many unique Provinces are you expecting?

Forget about sharepoint/forms bla bla, just create a Canvas App, add the List and do the same thing, see what you get.

    Hi Michael,

No, it's not an actual lookup. Just the name of the file.

There are no warnings or errors. And I am expecting 5 unique provinces. Please see a sample of the data attached.

I will try your suggestions with the canvas app.

    thanks,
    Sherazad.

I will throw in here the fact that Distinct is not supported with Delegation from SharePoint,  though unfortunately for some reason the warning has disappeared. If this helps, I have a blog on a possible workaround that may be useful.

    Hi Warren,

That's exactly what I found out yesterday. Thank you for the workaround which I will consider in future. I did workaround of my own which involved creating a small list with the 5 provinces which resolved my issue.

    thanks,
    Sherazad.
