Lanching the bot with Welcome text

Hi, I have added my bot to several locations, my website , eg. How do I get the bot to launch with an initial text statement like a welcome without user input?

As far as I know Bots are always launched using trigger phrases. You can specify what those phrases are, but I don't know of any way to launch the bot without the user inputting some trigger phrase. But I did find this blog post on creating a canvas to display to the user and then launch the bot from that.
